Northern Europe - A red-bearded giant wielding a large war hammer first appears in the area. Claiming to be the storm god Thunoro, he adventures across Scandinavia and Northern Europe for centuries.

17th Century


1632
October 24 Northern Saxony - Vladimiro seeks out and meets Thunoro. After a showing of battle prowess for manners' sake, they become traveling companions. {"The Milk of Paradise"}

1633
May 26 Saxony - Thunoro and Vladimiro investigate some strange local rumors. {"The Cave of Baalshazar"*}

1665
June 30 Lisboa, Portugal - Thunoro and Vladimiro sail aboard the Sea Queen bound for Naples, Italy.

July 2 Straits of Gibraltar - The Sea Queen's slave crew revolts and takes control of the ship. A new heading is taken toward western Africa.

August 14 Africa - The Sea Queen wrecks on the shoals off what will later be Nigeria. Vladimiro and Thunoro become separated.

September 28 Africa - Thunoro becomes war-chief of a primitive tribe.

1669
June 19 Africa - After years of search, Vladimiro finally locates Thunoro in his village. Both are forced to flee due to a dispute with the local shaman. {"A Short Life and a Merry One!*"}

June 20 Africa - Vladimiro and Thunoro come upon a beached pirate vessel, the Crimson Gull. They help repair the ship in exchange for passage. Vladimir takes the name Jacob Grinn. {"A Short Life and a Merry One!*"}

June 23 Africa - The Crimson Gull sails for the Caribbean. {"A Short Life and a Merry One!*"}

July 30 Port Royal, Jamaica - Trip shortened by Thunor'so wind powers, the Crimson Gull docks in Port Royal. {"A Short Life and a Merry One!*"}

November 11 Hispaniola - Captain Bill Barkswell is killed by grape-shot in a raid on Spanish merchant ships. Jacobo is elected leader of the Crimson Gull as Captain Black Jack Grinn. {"A Short Life and a Merry One!*"}

December 25 Port Royal, Jamaica - Captain Black Jack Grinno meets with Jamaican Governor Thomas Modyford and acquires privateering credentials. {"A Short Life and a Merry One!*"}

1671
January The Isthmus of Panama - The Crimson Gull joins Henry Morgan's assault on Panama. They become lost in the jungle on the way. The crew of the Gull perishes. {"A Short Life and a Merry One!*"} Afterward, disheartened, Jacobo assumes the identity of merchant Edward Fynch. He and Thunoro book passage for London.

18th Century


1707
July 17 London, England - Thunoro and Edwardo part ways for the last time. Thunor returns to the northern European countryside and Edward moves operations to Rome.

20th Century

The '40s


1940
April 9 Copenhagen, Denmark - Nazi forces invade Norway and Denmark The government and the army capitulate, but Thunoro and a few hundred civilians, a quarter of them children, hold the city from capture for nine weeks in what comes to be called the Battle of Copenhagen.

May 10 London, England - New Prime Minister Winston Churchill cites Thunor'so exploits as an example of dogged resistance to the Nazis in a speech on BBC Radio.

June 10 Copenhagen, Denmark - Thunoro and his refugees secretly board British ships bound for London, ceding Copenhagen to ever-increasing Nazi forces.

June 13 London, England - Thunoro meets Winston Churchill and offers his aid to the war effort. He primarily roams the North Sea and English Channel harrying Nazi ships and planes.

1946
April 9 Copenhagen, Denmark - Thunor's Day becomes a recognized city holiday and Thunoro is offered Danish citizenship. He makes his base there for many decades.

21st Century


2006
January 16 Copenhagen, Denmark - Taking the advice of a drunk fisherman in a bar, Thunoro seeks to become more well-known outside of Denmark. He hires an agent and a public relations firm to work on the problem.

February 2 Copenhagen, Denmark - Thunor'so PR firm "cleans up" his image, even to giving him a new, more super-hero-ish costume designed by their marketing department. A high-profile campaign built around a trip to aid Paragon City is planned out.

May 1 Atlas Park, Paragon City, Rhode Island - Thunoro arrives in Paragon City met with a reception of various city dignitaries.

May 2 The Halls of Valor - Thunoro joins the Legion of Valor.

August 18 Paragon City, Rhode Island - The Great Chronal Event of August 2006 AKA The Infinity Crisis begins. Waves of chronal energy sweep the eastern coast of the United States, creating pockets of displaced time. Hostile beings and creatures from across time and space begin to run amok. Scarlet Willo meets Thunoro. {"The Infinity Crisis"}

August 19 Paragon City, Rhode Island - Nuclear-Warheado meets Scarlet Willo and Thunoro. {"The Infinity Crisis"}

August 20 Paragon City, Rhode Island - Future-Mano calls together Thunoro, Scarlet Willo, Nuclear-Warheado, Kid Decorum and Deportmento to stage a delaying attack on Anachronus Caesar while Future-Man absorbs enough chronal energy. He reveals to the group that this is the mission he was sent back in time to perform. The group attacks Anachronus Caesar atop the highest building in Steel Canyon. Scarlet Will trails behind, acting as a rear guard. During the battle, Nuclear-Warhead, Kid Decorum and Deportment are aged to death. It has no effect on Thunor, who battles Anachronus Caesar one on one. Scarlet Will enters the battle, firing a specially crafted "chromatite" arrowhead that lodges in Anachronus Caesar's armor. Thunor drives the arrowhead in, creating a small rupture in Anachronus Caesar's armor. The resulting explosion destroys Thunor and Scarlet Will, but weakens Anachronus Caesar. {"The Infinity Crisis"}

August 21 Paragon City, Rhode Island - The final battle between Anachronus Caesar and Future-Mano ends with Future-Man defeated and laying dying. Future-Man attempts to use the last of his energy to summon a champion from the time-stream. Latching onto the recently released ambient life-force of Christopher "Fox" Browno, Future-Man imbues the avatar with the last of his energy. The avatar absorbs all of Anachronus Caesar's energy through the crack in his armor, imploding and destroying him. {"The Milk of Paradise"} The now-godlike avatar restores the lives of all who fought and died on the skyscraper and returns them to their homes, except for Future-Man. {"The Infinity Crisis"}

September 21 Paragon City, Rhode Island - After the third reference to him in the Paragon media as "Old Lightning Pants", Thunoro fires his agent and PR firm and returns to wearing his regular Viking-like clothing.

2007
July 17 - Paragon City, Rhode Island - The Knight-Watchmano, Cut-Upo, Decorumo, Kid Decorumo, Deportmento, USAceo, Nuclear-Warheado, Thunoro, Scarlet Willo and Dragyno battle the Masque of Red Deatho, Count Camuso and Discourtesyo. {"Destiny's Children"*}
