ORIGIN & HISTORY: No one knows about Tim Thompkins' past...not even him! Kidnapped by Trolls as a slave in the Hollows, Tim was subjected to many painful and invasive experiments by Circle of Thorns mages, resulting in burgeoning super-powers and a case of amnesia. Rescued by rising hero Decorum, Tim took his name from the man he idolized (and hoped to meet again) while searching for clues to his lost past. Tim came of age during the Great Chronal Event of August 2006 (AKA The Infinity Crisis), acquiring a new jacketed costume and a new cocky attitude, as well as a casual partnership with Deportment, and later Decorum. Hurled into the 26th century by an anomalous Ouroboros portal, Kid Decorum met up with and joined the future interplanetary teen group, the Corps of Super-Gladiators. He became one of the core members of the group and even met a young woman claiming to be his descendant! After a little more than a year, through the combined efforts of Corps Commander Stellar Kid and super-genius Egghead 2520, a way was found to return the Kid to his natural time immediately after he left. He returned, a little older, a little wiser and more experienced and proudly wore the uniform of the CoSG that he donned in the 26th Century! Kid Decorum searched for years to find a clue to his missing memories, finding nothing. Then, one day he received news of Frostfire's capture. Long repressed memories of his time as a captive to various groups in the Hollows flooded his mind. Memories of unspeakable tortures and humiliations tormented his mind day and night. Finally, he could take it no more. Slipping through the security measures, he sought out Frostfire in police custody in a screaming hysteria, delivering a beating that left the villain a bloody mass at the hero's feet. His mind clearing slightly, Kid realized what he'd done, and mistakenly assumed he'd killed Frostfire. In a fit of remorse and paranoia he fled into hiding in the Rogue Isles, removing all insignia connecting him with Decorum, the Legion of Valor or the Corps of Super-Gladiators. He walks the streets, peering fearfully over his shoulder and occasionally defeating local thugs trying to make retribution for his acts, confessing his sins like a madman as he pummels them into submission. Oddly, the pursuit he fears will never come. The police do not connect him to the beating and Frostfire himself claims he "fell". POWERS & ABILITIES: Subjected to arcane surgical experiments while a captive of the Circle of Thorn, Kid Decorum's body uses ambient mystical energies to strengthen himself. He is almost impervious to physical harm and has ten times the strength of an ordinary man. His powers being magical in nature, they are linked to his emotions. When in a rage, Kid Decorum becomes an unstoppable force to his enemies. He is an amnesiac and seems particularly vulnerable to psionic attack. He has recently become paranoid and unstable.
