ORIGIN & HISTORY: Ex-guard and "test subject" at Crey Labs, Sheila Kandinsky trained her body, honing her mutant toughness to its peak and becoming a dervish of fighting fury. An incredibly seamy sexual harassment episode led to Sheila leaving Crey and striking out on her own. Noting the arrival of Kid Decorum, honoring rising hero Decorum, she decided the "franchise" could use a female contingent.

During the second Rikti War of 2007, an attack by a Rikti Mage physically split Deportment two for one. Deportment Gold was sunny, optimistic and always had a smile for everyone, even when she was giving a much needed "spanking" to the naughty boys around Paragon City. Deportment Blue was grim, cynical and actively enjoyed hurting the criminals in the City. For a few months, the two enjoyed a peaceful coexistence while a method could be arranged to reintegrate them.

The split between Deportment Gold and Deportment Blue was finally solved by Mender Tesseract, who used her time-bending Ouroboros powers to shunt the two back in time before the split occurred, yet leaving the newly-merged Deportment with full memories of the incident.

Memories that shook her to her core. Being two different people left Sheila feeling like she needed to become her own woman, but not sure how to do so. A call with an offer to join Hero Corps triggered a solution for her. She agreed, but only as a free-lance by-the-job operative. With a kicky new haircut and a uniform makeover to distinguish herself from the Decorum-clone she appeared, she quit her job at the Wizard's Well Game Shop and opened Protocol Investigations, taking free-lance work from many of the local organizations to assert her new independence.

POWERS & ABILITIES: Deportment was born with super-tough skin, impervious to impacts from gunshots or less. She is also an accomplished martial artist with black belts in Jeet Kun Do and Judo, as well as cross-training in many other disciplines. She has the ability to fly, which manifested itself in her mid-teens. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology and had extensive training in this area when she worked for Crey Industries.
