The '50s


1953
June 13 New York, New York - First appearance of the newspaper comic strip King Lionidaso.

The '60s


1961
September 9 New York, New York - First airing of the King Lionidaso Saturday morning cartoon.

1967
September 3 New York, New York - Sparrta Puffs, the King Lionidaso breakfast cereal, first appears on grocery store shelves.

The '70s


1971
August 27 New York, New York - The Saturday morning cartoon King Lionidaso is canceled, although the newspaper strip continues.

The '80s


1983
June 14 Atlanta, Georgia - TBS begins rebroadcasting King Lionidaso cartoons daily.

21st Century


2008
December 25 Kings Row, Paragon City, Rhode Island - Count Camuso brings several cartoon characters to life in an attempt to bring chaos to Paragon City. Decorumo is able to defeat the characters and Count Camus with the aid of King Lionidaso, who remains "alive" in Paragon after the other characters have been returned to their various media. {"Christmas Capers"*}
