Dear Dad
Letters from Paragon

Dear Dad,

Well, I suppose by now you couldn't have missed seeing the video. I was as shocked as anyone! I have no idea how this reporter...this Jennifer Janes...managed to follow me all the way down into the sewers to film Thunderfist bringing Dr. Vahzilok to justice. She must be either one brave or one foolish young lady!

But now Thunderfist is the toast of the town with the media. Not that I actually speak to them, but I keep seeing small clips on the news. These Paragon City reporters are bulldogs! They seem to know everything and have the ability to be anywhere! It's a little disheartening that they haven't seemed to have noticed Decorum's absence as yet. Perhaps with Kid Decorum making headlines for stopping that Clockwork/Skull war before it started, they have enough to talk about. I think I was premature in worrying about his safety. He seems to be doing alright for himself!

When I brought Dr. Vahzilok to the authorities, they grilled him about his virus formula. Seemingly giving it up as a lost cause, and with bigger fish to fry, he readily turned over his notes. Unfortunately, the lightning had so mutated the virus in my body that his previous research was pretty much useless. That put the research team helping me back to square one. I've asked them to forward their findings to you to see if you can make any headway in this. I've got my fingers crossed. Although the pain has receded, and my skin seems to be regrowing (REALLY slowly), I fear that this is the harbinger of something terrible to come.

But, until we find a cure, I continue on in my job. Evil doesn't stay still just because of my infirmity!

Love, your son,

Jack "Thunderfist/Decorum" Brinkman
