Dear Dr. Brinkman,
We regret to inform you that your son Jack was found unconscious in Atlas Plaza on the evening of the 11th. Witnesses claim he attempted to fly from his residence in the building across the street, fell 22 stories and then staggered into the Plaza, falling at the feet of the Peacebringer Sunstorm.
He has remained unconscious the entire time he has been in our care and all attempts to revive him have failed. We have labled his condition "critical" although we cannot be sure. Our attempts at analyzing him have met with roadblock after roadblock. As experienced as we are with dealing with the superhuman physiology, we really cannot proceed without someone familiar with Jack's particular metabolism. As I understand, you have never published any information about your son, protecting his privacy, so I can only implore you, please come to Paragon City at once. We greatly need your assistance.
We can have transport waiting for you at Cooke County Memorial Hospital at your call.
