ORIGIN: He was born in the small Tuscan hill-town known as Vinci and was named Leonardo by his father, Piero. He was a bright child, interested in everything, particularly drawing, painting and engineering. A minor prodigy, he was apprenticed to the artist Verrocchio and moved to Florence. His intellect soared in the new workshop, with new resources and new ideas. But at 16, he discovered a cave in the foothills. He was curious, but afraid. The curiosity won out, and he entered, and was snatched away through time to become involved in the events of "The Time-Lost".
While exploring the Escher-like fortress of the Grand Chronarch, Leonardo discovered the workshop of his dreams, with access to technology unheard of in his time. He managed to craft some weaponry and other devices before being drawn away to other events, and brought them with him to our time where he became trapped. He is convinced he will find a way home, but the lure of adventure in Paragon City distracts him from time to time.
